Neer Dosa

Neer Dosa, also known as Rice Dosa, is a popular South Indian crepe made from rice and coconut. It is thin, soft, and delicate, making it an ideal choice for a light and flavorful breakfast or snack.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1/4 cup grated coconut
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Instructions:

Wash the rice and let it soak for two to three hours

Put the rice that has been soaked in water into a blender

Then add grated coconut, salt, and just enough water to make a thin batter

When you're done, the batter should be smooth and runny

Put a nonstick skillet or dosa tava over medium-low heat and lightly oil it

Put a small amount of the batter on the pan and quickly spread it out in a circle to make a thin dosa

Let the dosa cook for one to two minutes, or until the edges begin to lift and the color changes to clear

Cut the dosa in half and put it on a plate to serve

Do the same thing again with the rest of the batter

Neer Dosa should be served hot with coconut chutney or any other topping you like
